RPA capabilities include the design of street, pedestrian and special lighting. The projects include preparation of detailed design plans for the acquisition and installation of a complete lighting system.
The designs include preparation of a photometric analysis for streets, sidewalks, pathways, pedestrian areas and special facilities. Designs also include selection and placement of light fixtures to properly illuminate the facilities. The design also includes sizing and layout of the power distribution system, routing of conduit, location and placement of power supply cabinets and detail installation requirements.
RPA’s projects include design of street and pedestrian lighting for the Atlanta Beltline, various streets in Midtown Atlanta, streets and pedestrian areas on the Georgia Tech campus, upgraded lighting to illuminate the Georgia Capitol building dome and high mast highway lighting in Savannah, Georgia.
RPA projects also include the design of security camera systems for the Atlanta Beltline and the design of lighting for the vehicular and pedestrian lanes of the Krog Street tunnel, located, on Atlanta’s Southeast side. The tunnel is a frequently visited site, by tourist and residents, who view the street art work on its walls. The design project is part of the Renew Atlanta Program.
